Your Christmas or Mine? (2022) was a hit for Amazon and so we have the inevitable sequel.
This time around, The Hughes and Taylor families arrange to spend Christmas together in the Austrian Alps. But their shuttles are mixed up at the airport, which means the working-class Taylors end up at the posh Hugheses' luxury resort, and the Hugheses' end up in a sparse hostel.
It's entertaining but it's not as good as the original. The character work isn't as strong (most of the actors have little to do) and the film is very predictable. Still, the cast are so likeable that they make this worth watching. Asa Butterfield and Cora Kirk continue to be welcome companions.
The best thing here is (Grandad) Ram John Holder's tear inducing speech to Hayley, which is exceptional indeed. Newcomer Jane Krakowski is Diane (Humphrey's new American girlfriend), and Rhea Norwood is Bea (Hubert's ski-worthy friend.) Good overall.
