In Netflix's The Holiday Calendar, Kat Graham (TV's the Vampire Diaries) stars as a struggling photographer who's (Grandpa's gifted) Advent Calendar might be revealing the future.
On a day to day basis, the windows are opening themselves and the contents provide clues to future events!
While predictable this Christmas romance is at least original and very watchable thanks to (an adorable) Graham, who carries the entire film as Abby Sutton (a winter village photographer, dressed as an Elf.)
The movie is well shot with excellent cinematography and it's appropriately festive and romantic.
A likable cast includes: Quincy Brown as Josh Barton (Abby's best friend who moves back home after spending some time as a travel photographer), Ethan Peck as Ty Walker (a single dad / doctor and Abby's love interest) and Ron Cephas Jones (as Gramps Sutton, Abby's kindhearted grandfather.) Good fun.
