The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)

Michael Caine is wonderful as Ebenezer Scrooge in this Muppet production of A Christmas Carol. One of the few human actors on screen Caine excels in a difficult role.

What makes this version unique is watching all of your favourite Muppets in familiar, beloved roles. Kermit the Frog (Steve Whitmire) is Bob Cratchit and his wife Emily is played by Miss Piggy (Frank Oz.) 'Hi-ya!' The Great Gonzo (Dave Goelz) narrates (as Charles Dickens) along with Pal Rizo the Rat (Steve Whitmire), and they memorably get involved with the proceedings (which is fun.)

The songs are first rate and truly catchy, no more so than, 'One More Sleep 'Til Christmas' sung by Kermit, and, 'It Feels Like Christmas' (sung by TGOCpresent.)

The Muppet Christmas Carol has incredible puppetry (from its talented puppeteers) and hilarious quotable dialogue. Look out for the little rabbit at the door! Brilliant festive fun for children and adults alike.
