Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) travels from Earth-10005 to Earth-616, on the "Sacred Timeline" hoping to join The Avengers. When Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) turns him down he returns home.
Years later the Time Variance Authority (TVA) captures Wade and takes him to Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen.) Paradox explains that Wade's timeline is deteriorating as a result of the death of its stabilizing "anchor being", Logan (Hugh Jackman.) Wade steals a TemPad and sets out to find an alternative Logan.
D&W has rebellious humour, pop culture references galore and surprise cameos. Fourth wall busting references throughout (perhaps a little too many) including shots at Disney and Fox. [At one point the Fox logo is buried in the ground!]
Emma Corrin is baddie Cassandra Nova, twin sister of Charles Xavier, with telekinetic and telepathic powers. The fights are epic. A little overlong, but great fun.
